It seems to me that the flash drive on the slvr shows up in my computer and I can copy over philes....the mp3s especially are visible in the player and I see the length, BUT it says "Unable to play"...but mp3s are playable if you copy to the measly 5MB phone memory.
Also do I have to convert to MPEG4 AAC everytime I drop a song onto the SLVR?
When I'm copying files over to the Razr it slows down my P4 3.6Ghz PC...and itunes lags...?? Copying over files takes over a year

normal mp3 will work without conversion, and yes transfering mp3 to the phone is slow, you cannot do anything about it, it's how itunes is, but then it shouldn't slow your PC, i'm using a p3 1.266ghz, and my PC doesn't lag .
you can try mototunes it should be much faster.

How do I make it work with regular mp3s?? It says "This file cant be transfered" so I had to choose CONVERT TO 128K AAC in itunes.

The file just needs to be under 192kbps else it won't transfer or play.
