ROKR E1 Voicemail Icon

My girlfriend's ROKR received a voicemail two days ago. She listened to it, deleted it, but the icon has not gone away. Her voicemail box is currently empty, but the icon showing a voice message is still there. We've attempted turning the phone off and back on, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

a simple and effective trick thanks to a suggestion by Treatz (from Rogers) is to call your cell, dont answer, leave a message. Then call your voicemail retreival number, check your messages, make sure you delete them, then make sure you disconnect from the voicemail system with the * or # key, which ever your voicemail system utilizes, this ensures your properly disconnected and will send a "clear voicemail icon" notification to your phone, This seems to work almost always. Hope This Helps.

Oh, p.s. this is more of a Carrier Issue than a phone issue. just so you know for nex time.
