problems with bluetooth

i have a ROKR. I also have a bluetooth dongle for my pc running win2k. I can transfer files back and forth between my phone and my computer, but i am having trouble keeping the connection alive. I mark the ones i want to send, and when i go to send all the pics i marked, it only sends one, and then disconnects. A message with a yellow background pops up near the windows taskbar, telling me of the connection, and the disconnection of the pc.
How do i send the pics from the phone to the pc, where it will send them all, and THEN disconnect? If there's no way, then someone had their head up their butt when they designed this phone, or that software. (i'm using Bluesoleil with an IVT dongle.)
