i just got the razr and have been search all over many forums on how to put my own edited mp3s on my razr as a ringtone. I first used audacity to edit but could only save the files as .aut or something weird. Then i heard i can go to vzwpix.com and send it to my phone once i have it saved as a .mid So can anyone give me or link me a simple step by step process on how to load mp3s as ringtones. im goin crazy searching the web for this, and thanks so much i really need this.....

as far as i know, that method doesn't work. One method that works surprisingly well is if you know anyone with a moto e815 with the seem edits to make Mobile Phone Tools to work is that you give them the mp3 ringtone you wanted, they load in onto your phone, then they send a pix msg to your phone. Just save it and voila, a ringtone without paying $3!!

To make... follow -> http://www.ninetoez.net/moto/maketones.html

For your profile here, your carrier is filled in as Cingular.. so VZWPIX.COM wont work... VZWPIX.COM is to send pix/flix/ring tones to Verizon Wireless customers only....

If you have Verizon see -> http://www.v710.org/mark/HowToEmail.htm

No, sorry, I don't use it... I use Cool Edit Pro and its Mp3 encoder.
