So i upgraded the registry to version G, and my 8125 only connects to the wifi when I reset the cable modem and the wireless router, and then lets say if i go to communication manager and disable the wifi and re enable again it wont connect, it will keep trying and wont connect unless I go and reset the modem and the router again. Is this normal, if it is then it's pointless of having it, because it wont work at any of the hotspots that are provided in some public places like starbucks and airports. Is there a fix for that? guys please help, i've been trying to figure this out for past few weeks, basically how do i connect to the wireless withough reseting the router??

thanks in advance

No this is not normal. I didn't upgrade to the G however, reviews I read said that it really doesn't improve anything since the device itself is "slow". Did you have this problem before you did the reg edit? Mine connects no problem to several hotspots I frequent, remembering the settings and pw's needed so the process couldn't be any easier.
