W810i No sound output...At all

Ok, I've got a question here I hope someone can answer. My SE W810i has stopped any and all sound output (not a good thing for an mp3 player/phone) Anyway, it worked fine for about 2 days, Warning here: I formatted the memory stick with windows and that made the phone in-operable while the mem stick was in the phone, removed the stick, phone works (sound and all).

I went out today and got a new stick, don't worry I didn't buy one, just said this one doesn't work in my device. Plugged the new stick in, and everything on that end was fine. Now however I get no volume what so ever even when restarting the phone.

Anybody have any suggestions??

Return it? Did you buy it from sony or from ebay?

Unfortunately Ebay. It is so new that Sony doesn't even have update sevice suppport established for it yet, according to customer service @ SE.

I also discovered that the Camera has stopped functioning as well. So other than an adress book the device is useless. No MP3 player, no Camera, and no phone function.

I've got a couple messages out to the gent from ebay, and it does have a 30 day return policy. Just sucks when a new toy breaks so soon, through no fault of your own.

Hopefully it all will work out, I really don't want/need a $500. paper weight.

I know how you feel. I think I might have a sharp 903 that can't be unlocked... yet.

Everything I'm seeing on the 903 unlock is buying a cable, dongle, or I saw mention of a beta unlock. Here is a site to buy the cable & software (cheapest I found) http://www.unlockitnow.com/Sharp/903.php

Or their is setool3, but that is a bit pricey.

Hopefully the guy contacts me about my w810i, I really don't want to have to go through the hassle of filing a claim against him. But according to his feedback sometimes communication is an issue.

It's a bummer for 2 days the phone worked like a champ, then it just took a huge dump yesterday afternoon.
