The cingular store has my mom freaked about using the internet on the 8125, I dont want to use cingulars networks for surfing, everywhere im at during the day has a WIFI connection that i can get on. They were trying to tell her that If im surfing using WIFI its still going to cost me data. I tried to explain to her that they cant charge me if im using WIFI insteaf of the cingular network stuff. Anyways, I am correct on this (I Hope) but can i get a couple post to prove to her i know what im saying?

WiFi uses the isp source of the hotspot, so cingula r wont even know your using WiFi.

exactly....i've used wifi on hotspots/accesspoints since i got it in march and still no expenses for internet reflected on my billing statement...that lady is just trying to get you to sign up for the cingular internet option it seems

All you have to do is have her call Cingular and they will verify it for you.

Be specific in the question. Wireless vs Cingular Internet service.

Wireless internet has no charge unless you are using a subscription hotspot service ie. TMobile or Starbucks etc...
