i730 USB Driver

I have been trying everything I can find to get the MPT USB driver to work with my phone.
No matter what I do Windoze XP will not install the USB driver for the cable. Always says the location doesn't contain info about your hardware...
I have downloaded the Prolific USB driver that is supposed to work with everything and it will not work either...
I have searched these forums for anything related to USB, i730, and driver but haven't found anything useful...
Any help or suggestions?
I have a Motorola i730 with no modifications....
