i'm planning to move to verizon but i'm stuck on choosing which phone to get.

i'm looking for a free phone that could be bought on www.mobiledia.com.

my choices right now are the following:

-razr v3c
-moto e815
-lg v8100

which one has the best features?
which one has the best reception?
which one looks more stylish?
which one is the best?

i'm also open for more suggestions, as long as they're for verizon and they're free on www.mobiledia.com. thanks

I owned the e815, and now i have the v3c...

The E815 is bulky, and the antenna keeps poking you when you sit...the arrow buttons are a little to small for my liking, but all in all, it was a pretty good phone.

The razr is great. I have the old firmware (.2), where bluetooth isn't crippled. I can upload ringtones wirelessly to my phone from my computer. It's thin, but wide. It's also fragile.

Basically, if the bulk, antenna and small arrows don't bother you, go for the E815. If you're a person that drops your phone, don't buy the razr. it will break

My story is the opposite. I had the RAZR, but then it wigged out on me, so I ended up getting an e815.

E815, you can seem edit it to make it a great phone. There's no Verizon UI on it and the camera on it has a flash. Don't forget the expandable memory on it. Weird thing is I got longer battery life with my e815 than my RAZR, but your mileage may vary. My e815, just like my former samsung a670 feels like a phone that can take a beating. E815 can get signal anywhere due to that small antenna, even inside some buildings.

The e815 is great but compared to a RAZR, but the RAZR is great if flashed to Alltell Firmware. Its RAZR thin, but its also fragile as KingMikeSaid.

ALl up to personal preference, since everyone has both phones.

The RAZR is more or less for looks. It's pleasing to the eye, but it can feel like the slightest wrong move can break it.

Personally, I've had a horrendous experience with the MOTOE815 aka "Hollywood". I had to return it 3 times, before the 15 day exchange period was even up. Each time, it was the same exact video problem.

My advice is to go with the 8100, or better yet, go for the 9800! :O)

newbie question: what's rf?

i heard people say that e815's mp3 player is better than lg8100's mp3 player. is that true?

Rf is radio frequency it has to do with the signal meaning you will have more bars of signal than the other phones so you wont drop calls. My mp3 on my v710 is awesome plays as almost as good as my ipod I dont have a e815 sorry .

I own the E815, works great. It's super solid, huge screen, and nice speakerphone. I just did the BT transfer seem edit, and I'm loving it. Now if only I could get it to work with MPT with BT and Multimedia Studio, I'd absolutely love this phone.
