if you have a camera phone, goto www.myxertones.com and theres a way that you upload a song to their site, and choose which part of the song that you want as your ringer. make sure to set the preference as mp3 before they send a blank image to your camera with the sound as your ringer. save it to your sounds or whatever, and then you should be able to set it to a ringer. also use one of those programs that lowers the bit rate, it works really nicely

This was awesome until I did everything just to find out that it saves the song under "My Sounds". Which, we all know Verizon doesn't allow the 9800 to use for ringtones. Why the heck they even have a "My Sounds" folder on it is beyond me.

i still have the camera phone everyone used to have, and i was planning on getting the 9800, and it sucks that that feature wont work, the ringers sound so clear!oh well, we will find a way around it.
