i know!! whats wrong with pantech and wanting to be on plans?

i bet you that kids will beg for this instead of the firefly.. lol

Posted by: flokati

the looks of it remind me of the nokia 6230, but the features

Posted by: bodeh6

What kind of ghetto phone is this? This better be only prepaid and only $40.

Posted by: hitechy

Why are they releasing a phone that looks identical to the Nokia 6030 when looking at it from more than 3 feet away.

Posted by: anubis9278

what with pantech phones ugly ugly they look cheap too i would not buy it especially since i never heard of this brand.

Posted by: helpermonkey

They are Korean and new to the US market, not a new brand.

Posted by: audiovoxx

pantech... lg.... what will cingular think of next??

Posted by: oo3

at least it looks better than pantech's other phone for cingular...but still fugly

Posted by: bobolito

What's up with these low budget phones coming to crap the US market? I've seen Verizon releasing some Pantech phones too, so Cingular is not alone.

Looks like Pantech is taking a page from Hyundai Motor Corp. Take a design on the market, tweak it, and find a way to sell it for cheaper.

Posted by: blessd24

Pantech is supposed to be coming out with a phone for postpaid sometime soon though, i figured this would be it.

Posted by: walkguru

looks like a 6230, wantabe, ha.

Posted by: darkinfero

it looks so bad i dont like it
i don't want cheap phones i want nice pricey phones that have tons of features
its pretty sad when you important phones and you just use your upgrade to get a free phone lol

Posted by: ziddey

looks nice makes me miss my old 6230

Posted by: pseudoo

I don't see why everyones against this phone. In my opinion, it looks nice and minimalistic, a bare bones phone

Posted by: drea177e12

The phone is out right? I saw it in a pay as you go box in one of my cingular store. The picture of the phone on the box was silver, not black. maybe I should go back tomorrow and buy the phone if it's cheap.

Posted by: helpermonkey

No it is not out, the phone has not passed testing and is not approved.

Posted by: ziddey

you saw the other pantech phone. the worlds smallest flip camera

Posted by: drea177e12

went back to the store and ask to buy the phone. CSR check then told me that phone is not in yet. they just have the display box but not the phone. the display box have the picture of a silver c120, not the black one in the OP picture.

Posted by: mulletwireless

They make some hightech handsets why not offer them instead of the middle of the road ones?

Posted by: helpermonkey

Maybe because they do not have a track record on Cingular yet.

Posted by: puckchump

are we ever going to get any of the high end pantech there stuff overseas looks awesome

Posted by: hagthor

totally sucks

Posted by: cingular#1

thsi thing is a killer, once it hits the shelves, people will be buying it like crazy

Posted by: helpermonkey

Yah, what do you think is so killer about it? I thought the C-300 at least had the little flip thing going for it, but this is just a low end candy bar, nothing killer. They are both far from perfect. Decent I would say.

Posted by: VelfarreClubber

i have the dummy phone in my hand now, and its silver. i like my sony t637 better for punching in numbers, while this one is totally flat. this phone could be popular for the teenie boppers who put gems all over their phones. from what i see in the specs bluetooth is the selling pt. also pantech is from sk telecom for those who do not know, and they make some damn good phones in Corea

todays geography lesson includes the spelling of Korea

like the 300, this one will be a hit with the bling crowd, teens, and women.

Posted by: VelfarreClubber

no i have a phone, Corea was the correct initial spelling till Japan invaded for 35 years and made it into Korea.

Memory 2.5 MB

Posted by: cingular#1

lol its released

Posted by: Tjash2010

Yes, I noticed.

Not on prepaid either. 89.99 for a 2yr contract!

Posted by: Willie3White

Saw the phone for about 6hours then nothing they know about it at the store but don't know any details or when they are getting it in. I don't even see it on the premier site? Whats up anybody have any answers....

Posted by: quillhill

It's showing up in my zip code (98038) on the pre-paid phones page but not the post-paid for $89.99 on both GoPhone plans.

If it were a wee bit cheaper, I'd buy one just to have as a back-up. Anybody want a Samsung D807? Or LG CU500? Or both. LOL My husband wants me to get rid of phones. Wouldn't really need either of those if I got the Pantech. Would be a good little weekend phone.

Posted by: my.phone.rocks.

Has anyone used one of these yet?

I would like to know how it performs.
