S40 signal fluctuation

all of you S40 users out there.. do you guys notice the reception fluctuation with S40? I' have full 4 bars, so i try to make a call, and then all of a sudden it goes down to none, and i get dropped calls. Will firmware update fix this problem or is this a hardware defect that will make this phone rendered? What's the point of having a cell phone if you just can't make calls?

Seems to be a frequent bug of the S40. You should ask for a replacement S40.
