I am having a problem getting the data cable to connect with my computer. There doesn't seam to be a USB Driver the GX-32. People keep saying to use the GX-25 but I can't get it to comunicate with the computer. Can anyone give me some advice?

well i had a gx-30 usb driver b4 but i duno where it went i download from the sharp's website and it worked however the latest version that they have doesnt.....

the data cable is a real big fus for me i had it workin only a couple of times...

and when i did get it working it was pointless, only thign worth it. was.... sim contacts names? thats it ringtones you can put via sd card same w/ pics...

in concluesion, i believe gx-32 data cable = pointless to me btu then again u might want to change the contacts on ur computer and not on ur cell

and this is the site where i got my usb driver from
http://www.sharp-phone.com/download...delcountryid=17

yup i used a gx30 and it worked
cause gx30 is just the euro of the gx32 .... like 902 and sx833

the drivers should be the same..but the handset manager has to go wtih the model of phone for sure tho. sx833 must use sx833 handsetmanager.. 903sh must use euro.. or japn. etc.etc

When I purchased the cable they sent me the handset manager for the GX-25 and said it was the same for both. Sharps web site doesn't have a driver download for the GX-32. I want to be able to type my contacts on the computer and sync to my phone. I even contacted sharp and they said they don't support the phone to contact T-mobile. T-mobile says they don't support that phone only the TM-150 which really sucks!

use the gx30 driver if you can.

no.. tmobile doesn't support gx32. asking tmobile is not gonna help as they don't officially su0pport it. you just ask sharp for the gx32 driver

Does the software still know the type of phone even when the firmware has been changed, I wonder? I have a 902SH from Japan that's been flashed with SX813 firmware and the European Vodafone handset manager software works fine with it.

for 903's it does matter. it knows wich model u have... for 902.. i had the same issue. it asked specifically for the sx813.

I used the GX-30 driver but it doesn't work. I did try to get the GX-32 driver from sharp but they were no help. I'm not to familar with firmwear. When I start up the phone it says openwave. Is that the firmwear? Could that be the problem?
