8125 new contacts problem

My outlook is set up to show contacts by first name/last name, but when I add a contact on the 8125, it shows up in its address book as last name/first name, and then it syncs in outlook last name/first name. A real pain--anyone know how to keep that from happening? Searching hasn't helped, I've tried.
