Hi everyone,

I ordered the Blackberry 8700c the other day and I was wondering if I need to get the Blackberry Data Plan or can I pay per Kb? I dont plan on using it ALOT and i dont want to spend 40.00+ a month.

So basically can I pay per use or do I HAVE to get the Blackberry Data Plan?

you have to get the bb data plan, without it you cant even use email

Well I think I will return it then and get a Treo 650 or a 8125, some other smartphone that I can use the MediaNet Max on for only 20.00. I just read somewhere on this forum that I can use a Medianet package with a Treo 650 or a Windows mobile device, is that correcT?
