Sharp 703: Provisioning?

Hi!

I just bought a Sharp 703SHf, and like many others the "provisioning" problem is really starting to bother me.

Is there absolutely nothing I can do to try and solve this problem? Any firmware upgrades, anything? It's driving me insane >.>

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

since it has a jp firmware, there isn't anything you can do.

You can have it flashed to a HK or Euro firmware but those are only for the 703sh and would need driver adjustments to make the screen work with the 703shf. this has been posted in another thread.

there is no way to fix it really, you're gonna to have to live with it. and its not very easy to find the unlocker with the skills to actulaly flash and load those drivers up into that phone to work with 703 firmware

anyways, one more question, can anyone instruct me to load mp3's onto my minisd? i have no idea what folder to put it in, nothing seems to work!

ps. i've read other threads and i'm horribly confused -___- some people seem to be abple to play mp3's, some cant? arg...

edit: erm, lol i read that you need panasonic readers/jukebox to play it?! omg -___-

anyway around it?

they won't be coming out with any firmware unfortunately.

just put the mp3s into sounds and ringtones folder on your card. as for your japanese firmware. you don't put mp3s.. u put aac files. into that folder.. and if you can't. lyou hve to use the panasonic card reader + sd jukebox to put playablae files on it

timsta, u r right, the phone will not be released in hk, so no f/w will be available.

there is a slight chance of a euro version existing..but in reality.. i don't think it will.. but u never know. it might be like the sx833 in tw... a very late release. depends how hard hard the carriers push to carry it

the 703sh and 703shf, no differences, apart from the ic, octopus type card in hk, so hk will not have it, euro might have it.

the screen is a bit different too.. when i mentioned euro.. i was thinking of 904SH.. not 703SHF.. sorry guys. my bad there.
