okay well i just got this phone less than a week ago and i love it already. ive configured using the wifi from the pcktpc and connecting it to my network at home. So now i am connected via WiFi and my home wireless router. i have nether the Cingular EDGE plan or PDA unlimited, so my question was do i have to have the PDA unlimited to get on the internet from the 8125, free of charge? or does enabling and connecting through Wifi cost absolutely nothing? no charge per MB or KB download? just wanted to make sure about it.? any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're connected via WiFi there won't be any charges for data usage because whatever data you receive is coming through your router, not through Cingular. Make sure that you keep an eye on it while it's connected though, because unless you've done some tweaking to disable it, if the WiFi connection drops it will automatically try to connect to Cingular's GPRS...

thanks man. Now is there any way or advice on how i could disable it like your talking about? whenever i use my wifi i am connected no problem, and when i turn the wifi connection off i lose the internet ... so so far no problem, but i would of course llike to know how to disable it for future purposes. any help anyone?
