Ok so I just got the t809 not too long ago...I was wondering if anybody has dealt with both....t809 and v635...because I was thinking about buying my friends v635 that
Switched to cdma(sprint)...should I just keep my t809?I'm lookin for who has a better cam,mp3 player,reception...and I don't really care about the browser because I use my sidekick2 for that...but I'd like to know anyways...some feedback would be great...

Definitely the samsung is better. I have indeed used both. Stability, RF, speed, quality, size...

I have both phones and I would def choose T809. There are a lot of reasons but one reason was the v635 UI isn't as good as the T809's. And the v635's mp3 player app takes forever to load.

Wow...then I don't know what the big v635 hype was then.....guess I picked the right phone...how about the browser...is it better than the t809 ?....in conclusion almost all motorolas happen to be the same then...besides the iden ones...lol..I knew it

skip the v635i and get the v3i if you want moto.

UI pretty much both the same, moto is better imo by a slight bit, t809 has better cam and screen, moto has better mp3 app

The v635 wasn't as good as I thought it was when I first bought it.

Naw dude...I don't want to have a v3 like everybody and there mother...I'd rather consider a v360

Who uses the java app to play mp3's? lol. I deleted that in the 1st week. You obviously don't know your phone. The v635 is STILL the best flip phone in the world. Enough Said.

I don't know about that. The fact that you have to buy a prepreitart cable just to use it is a minus. Plus its a really bulky, blocky phone in comparison to most flip phones today. Don't get me wrong, I like mine, but its not the best flip in the world.

I've never used the v635, but the t809 is pretty awesome. Great cam (for a <2 mp), sexy as hell form factor, good media player, gorgeous screen. Only real drawback is the weak battery life. But it's a great phone.

i got the t809 and loved it for about a day and then i realized that the phone was not for me i need a tougher phone...the 635 looks lite it would fill that need...i also was considering the moto...so anyway this comparison is helping me lol

Yeah, I mean even though I think the t809 is really cool, I got an SE w800i instead. My girlfriend got the 809 :-)
