Same old story, 3rd w600i, cellphone is afflicted with the white screen of death and I dont want to have to send it in to Cingular to wait for it to come back as I am about to go on vacation. I bought 1 credit from the DaVinci team and dont know how to figure this thing out, i try to go to seuniverse.com but for some reason that site appears to be down, I look through a google cache of the site, and low and behold one of the posts on the site reads "How to fix WSOD in W600i" but I cant click on it because the site is down and this is only a cache. So right now I am confused about everything.

My question to you guys and gals:

1. Is it possible to correct the WSOD with the DaVinci Client?
2. And could you walk me through it?
3. Does anyone have a manual for the DaVinci Client?
4. How do I install the drivers for the DCU-60 cable to work for the DVC?

Any help would be MUCH Appreciated and of course reciprocated.

You can't do much (if anything) with a DCU-60 and DaVinci. You need their cable. Instead, go to www.sonyericsson.com and in the Support section, download the SE Update Software. Run the firmware update on your phone. Even if you already had the latest version. It has been reported to fix phones like yours.

Yes, that's the one. And no I don't know if it will fix WSOD problems, but for some, it seems that it did fix them. Worth a shot.

Avoid the SEUS like the plague... it hosed my z520i.

So what do u suggest?? Replacing the phone every time I'll get white screen?

Even if your phone gets hosed by it, like it happened to roygbv, then you'll have to exchange it, which is the only other option you have anyway. So you might as well try the update. What have you got to lose ?
