Hello everyone!

My name's Xiaofeng, and I'm brand new here. I stumbled across these forums just recently after purchasing my Motorola RAZR v3c from Verizon, and I'm amazed by the wealth of information that is here! I'm a complete newbie when it comes to moding phones, so this has become a new playground of sorts for me. ^_^

With that said, I'm afraid I've come across a peculiar problem. After I found out about the whole .03 -> .02 flash bit, I had to try to unlock some latent features of the phone. (Btw, Mark Venture's web page is incredibly handy. Thanks Mark!) However, after I flashed my phone to the .02 firmware, it seems that I can no longer access my calendar, and my alarms no longer work! When trying to access the calendar, nothing happens, and when I try saving an alarm, the phone just resets on me! I've run master clear/resets, I've re-flashed the .02 firmware, and I even flashed it back to the .03 firmware (all of which MFF reported as finishing successfully), but still to no avail.

So, I'm looking to the members for some help. I've run multiple searches for calendar problems with the v3c, but it seems like I have an isolated problem. (Either that, or I'm too inept to properly use your search functions....

) I wasn't quite sure where to post this, as the problem came about after the flash; my apologies if this is the wrong thread.

I hope someone gets the chance to read this and points me in the right direction. Is there something I can do to fix this problem, or am I stuck with trying to replace my phone? ;_;

Bump!

Hello, has anyone had a chance to read this yet? I still can't get into my calendar or alarms, and I've noticed that the UI is even slower than the stock Verizon .03 one. Does anyone have any ideas on where I should start to debug this?

Also, I noticed that when flashing my phone, an error log is generated with these following lines, even though MFF reports that it successfully flashes?

I'm no expert by any means, but having just gone through what you went through I can say that I never saw mention of that problem before (probably would have scared me off a flash if I had) so it does seem to be unique. I certainly didn't encounter that error when I flashed from 03 to 02.

Solution? I have no idea. You've already reflashed (I assume with a different version of the ROM?) so it seems like you're sort of stuck. I recommend taking it to a Verizon store and having them flash it with 04 if you can, then seeing if you still have the same problem. And if you do you could probably ask them for a complete overhaul to at least get you back to normal.
