i am new to these forums so be patient with me for the begining. how do all you guys with like 3000 posts go about switching your phones? do you sell them on ebay or something. JW how you guys go without loosing money on all the phones you buy.

I think that most people here end up losing money on a phone. Let's be honest, a cell phone is not the wisest thing to invest your money in. At the rate that they keep turning out new phones, and the demand for the latest, greatest technology, it is no wonder that people keep their phone for as long as they do.

I find that alot of people on this board are addicted to cell phones, the technology, or work for a provider/store. People that have cell phones as a hobby are going to spend the money on the newest phones. Just like car guys will drop all kinds of cash for mods for their car, we spend it on cell phones.

Depending on your provider, you can purchase phones on eBay, or online stores. There are sites like www.celltradeusa.com where you can sell your plan along with your phone. There is a huge buy/sell/trade section right here on HoFo also.
