Im sure everyones noticed that the quality of pictures from a sharp phone turn out substantually better than other megapixel camera handsets.
Ive noticed it most it with the sharp tm-150.
My pictures always turn out nice and clear with good white balance.
Then i go use my friends LG VX8100 and the quality is horrible.

i guess it all depends on the quality of the optics used in the camera

If the Tm150 uses a CCD camera and the VX8100 uses a CMOS camera, that could be an explanation.

Considering that phone was catered for the Japanese market, they had a different set of standards to meet.

yup that i believe is the biggest factor Most CCD cameras are better then CMOS if not all (especialy for cellphones ) but CMOS tech. has come a long way and its starting to show in DV recording =D

Meh... just as long as it takes good enough pictures in my opinion. It doesn't matter if its CMOS or CCD once you reach a certain point.

I'll wire some cash to my family in Japan to buy a 904 w/ a voda contract and break it... w00t!

haha thx desert ... but i have no idea HAHAH... case the fone is locked and theres no way for me to test other then to get a sim card from japan ...

not too sure but i just ordered a vodafone sim card from uk ... for 2 bux off ebay hope that'll work shippin was like 4 bux? so yea about 6 bux i might have a semi-working sharp 904 =P
