I just got a 7500 from the Sprint store yesterday. I wanted to transfer some ringtones into it. However, I don't know how to make my computer recognize the phone. I downloaded BitPim already & it says that I have to have the phone's usb driver installed. I never got any drivers with my phone, no disc or anything. I can't seem to find any Sanyo usb drivers through google either. Lastly, the phone manual mentions nothing about transferring data nor the use of the included usb cable. Can someone help me out.

Thanks in advance.

I believe the USB cable is for use when using phone as a modem....see this from the sanyo website...http://www.sanyo.com/wireless/hands...?productID=1231

Phone as Modem

With Sprint Power Vision(SM) Connection Manager and the required Sprint Power Vision service plan, the MM-7500 can be used as a mobile modem for your laptop using the included USB cable
Connect at broadband-like speeds while within Sprint Power Vision coverage areas
To download the the Sprint PCS Connection Manager software, please visit: http://www.sprint.com/downloads
Select your PC's operating system and then select "Sprint PCS
Connection Manager for Phone as Modem/USB cables"

You need to put the phone in standby mode in order for the PC to see it. When you plug it into the USB port, lool at the display on the phone and choose "Modem|Standby. Oh, and I d-loaded BitPim and cannot see my phone although it's definitely connected to my PC. I believe another update of BitPim will need to be created in order to accomodate the MM-7500.
