Anyone got it working?? I get a connection, but it always fails when I try to get a steady connection. It connects to Com0, then it disconnects when I click OK.
I know there are a lot of problems with this, so I guess I need some kind of patch to my bluetooth software perhaps.

Well I had it working on one laptop for a while and then it stop working, I tried several times installing and reinstalling it,
reintalled the P800 PC suite with no luck.
Finally I installed it in my other laptop, slightly older one but running win XP as well and is been working beatifully.
I just installed the patch upgrade anyways, and still working well.
I can do my synch , back up transfer files extc via the explorer.
it is really nice.

So I believe a clean installation in a PC with no too many programs is easier than one that is been abuse as is usually the case with any of our computers.
Good luck

which patch is that? the one in 5 parts? got that one.. mailed tecom today about it, eagerly awaiting their answer

NoI am talking about SE synch program upgrade patch/

the answer I got from tecom was to change the comport, now that is impossible, as the P800 will ONLY connect to Com 0!
but your phone connects to COm 0 as well doesnt it?
Do you find com 0 anywhere in the settings on your computer?
I cant find it at all..

I dont bother with the patch upgrade, since you said it worked fine without it so I guess I dont need it.

Ill just have to stick with my sync station for now...

I dont know but when I check the connection it shows connected comm 5. I dont know how to change the comm port.
the computer selected that comm port.
I only checked all the comm port on the communication window.

have the exact same problem MV4 with a MSI bluetooth key. Couldn't get anything to work, eventually was able to tranfer files from phone over blutooth to pc, when I eventually got pc tranferring files to P800, i couldn't send files from phone. Then it just stopped working completely. I've tried multiple installs and uninstalls but have not been able to get anything working again

In the settings menu on the connection it says Com 5 on mine as well but when trying to connect it says Com 0 , and this does still not work..
I dont really bother trying anymore, waiting for sensible reply on my mail to tecom
