Anyone know if it is actually sturdier than the arg/silver ones? Mine creaks like an old ship and feels it's gonna come apart. I also did not realize it was so light. The battery cover is the worse, feels like the tabs are gonna break off being so flimsy. And the hinges on the flip, that is another story.

Otherwise, it is a bada$$ phone.

I've owned both silver and black, not any difference that i could tell...my silver one was a reconditioned unit, it was a little creaky out of the box, the black one was really solid, but after awhile, it's developed similar creaks and stuff...but neither are any worse than any other phone i've ever owned...i was always a nokia candybar guy before i went w/ the mpx220 and they always had some creaks and such in the buttons and case.

No problems w/ my battery door, it's attached pretty solid...if I press the silve latch in, it'll come off easily, but as long as that's snapped in tight, good to go.

Yes, the tabs are delicated, don't force them or you'll snap one off in a heartbeat.
