Just found it... it's not a "Dopat", it's a "Dopod", and hopefully it should work in Canada...

Have you ever seen any reviews for these?

My father just bought me a phone/pda from Indonesia called the "Dopat". I haven't received it yet, but I can't seem to find any information about it online. Apparently it's supposed to be a lot like the O2? Do you have any information on this, like:

- Will I be able to connect to a Canadian carrier?
- What are its features?
- Will I be able to sync to my email?

Any other information you could provide would be great!

it will work in canada. no probs. its a good phoen tooo. enjoy it!

you will be able to do all the stuff you listed. and it has many many features.. too many to list.. how much did your dad get it for?

not sure how much he bought it for, but i think it was around $500 or $600 CAD.

so you sure it'll work in Canada? i'm with fido right now, would i have to sign up for data services to get online & stuff? i'm also assuming it takes a sim card???

nope.. it works.. just use a sim card and youill be fine.
