ok i went to the HTC site and saw that there was a software update for the 8125....i checked it with my phone and everything on my phone seems to be up to date like ROM version and ExtROM version..except for the radio and protocol versions..should i update the software or just leave it since ROM and Ext ROM version are the same??

It's just a new Radio version to solve issues with 8125 destroying SIM cards. If your phone works fine, there is no reason to upgrade since another update with AKU2 is right on the corner.

There appears to be a similar update for the 2125. The EXE file has something to the effect of "engineer" in it (engineering/test mode?).
