I was experimenting with my phone, with various firmwares...some which didnt work before, so i tried messing with it, using RSD and Flashbackup..and a few other things to put it on my phone.

after all of it, and after applying a reflash I managed to get the phone to turn on, and it would boot normally(sorta) and I could get to the main screen of the phone..but the screen is black, and there is just the signal, and battery icons. and when I close the flip, it shows the time on a white backround.

and when I connected it to RSD I got this

turns out I managed to get a reflash on there..with no flex

Just thought I'd share that, and wondering if anybody has ever done this before.

No I don't usually try to brick my phone,
all you've done is messed the phone whilst experimenting
with various firmwares and gotten it to turn on with a reflash.
Not to burst your bubble but what you have experienced is actually
a problem people have encountered before after applying a monsterpack.

Darn..I was hoping I had done something special

But as far as bricking the phone....I have actually bricked it so many times..and from so many things, I think my phone is invincible...(unless i flash with wrong firmware of course)

cause Ive been able to get it back every single time..though it wasnt easy at first, I still managed to get it back.

which makes me think..that if you know what your doing, its nearly impossible to actually paperweight this phone. there is just so many ways to revive it.

my heart will skip a beat if anyone even gets near my phone while its flashing.. i would cry if it turned into a brick..

I agree, when I flash, I dont even connect to the internet..or use my computer.

I havent yet messed it up in the middle of a flash....that might actually kill it, and I dont want to find out.

I wouldn't worry about it to much,my pc has crashed in the middle of an upgrade
and I just flashed again with no problems.Connecting to the internet or using the pc
whilst flashing has no effect whatsoever, some members here including myself have disconnected the data cable in the middle of a flash to see what would happen and
were still able to flash again after a powercycle. Its only when flashing with a different firmware that you could brick your phone.

Cool, and I probably will never experiment with other firmwares unless I knew they would work. But so far, I havent read anything saying anything other than a R474 will work with the 635.
