Verizon V3C auto lock bug

If you have the phone set to automatic lock the phone is supposed to be locked when you start it up. You have to type in the security code (default is last 4 of your number) before you can use it.

Not exactly.

If you hit the power button, then fold it closed while it is still booting, the keypad lock does not work. It is possible to make phone calls using the keypad and the contact list, and access all the menus.

The only thing that doesn't work is the camera.

You have to leave the phone open all through the boot sequence for the auto lock to work.

Huge, gaping security issue.
