hey timsta, you said that you use goldwave and yamaha to make mmf files right? i was just curious as to what settings you were using because i heard yours and they were clear as day as the ones i made sounded really terrible.. so what .wav settings were you saving it as on goldwave and what yamaha player did you use?

um... taht sa good question. i forget what settings i used. i haven't made thjem in awhile. i used the toanage settings that he gave me.

i believe.. in goldwave. id din't make any changes.. but in yamaha convertor.. i choosed something 5.... if that helps..

Anything you guys want? I made a few of these for ******** and the rest while killing time. Just PM me with what you want, or PM me and we can take it from MSN and you can send me the tunes you want clipped and/or converted. Tell me the format you want your .mmf files in also please. MA-2, MA-3 are for lower end phones like 703SH, 703SHf, 802SE, etc. MA-5, MA-7 can be used on higher end phones like 904SH, 904T, I haven't tried it on 902SH or 903SH so you guys can report back so we have a compatibility list. In general, MA-5 and MA-7 are better quality than MA-2 and MA-3. However they are all backwards compatible when used on a phone that supports the better quality ones.

I've been looking around on this forum for ages but decided to join not long ago. Gotta love the ring tones put up here by members.

I was wondering, (and if this is the wrong place for this, i'm sorry!) if anyone could help me with a slight problem i'm having with my 703shf. Only a small handful of tunes from this thread have worked on my phone. The rest of them come up with an '[Invalid Title]' prompt when i tried to play them.

Anyone have any ideas?

sorry it took so long to get those to ya. i got em on the briefcase area. you can go check it out. i just barely made 299kb lol... the whole song is there as well if you want it. sorry if its a little short.. with only 300kb to work with on the mmf its hard to fit alot in there... its about 30 seconds around. keep em coming. :P

Ahhh ... Joe_k .... Did you figure out how to make better mmf ringtones? I have had the same problem with sound quality for the mmf files. Also, what program do you use to convert them? I only have a trial version of ringtone creator that only allows 10 seconds of a song to be converted. Do you know of any freeware I could d-load so that i can actually convert an entire song into mmf format? Thank you so much ><! If you could PM me with any information I would greatly appreciate it.
