V551 "Received Calls" Log Doesn't Work

I did a forum search and didn't find another post with this problem, so here goes:

In the "Recent Calls" menu, when I select the "Received Calls" option, I get kicked back out to whatever screen I was at before the "Recent Calls" menu. This only happens with "Received Calls" and not "Dialed Calls" which shows the standard last 10 calls dialed. The consequence of this is that I can't see the name/number of anyone who called in case I miss a call.

I'm not sure what led to this happening because I only noticed it about a week ago. I think I may have charged the phone the night before I noticed it. The last time I did any seem editing was over a month ago (changed outer display text) and the phone has been power cycled numerous times since then, so I'm sure that's not related to this problem. Maybe MPT screwed it last time I was uploading/deleting ringtones which was two weeks ago. I've had this phone for over a year and this is the first problem I've ever had with it. Anyone have any ideas?

Uploading & downloading ringtones through MPT would not cause this problem. I would suggest changing the FLEX back to the original version & starting your mods over from scratch.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't mean to suggest that MPT could have caused it, but that was the last thing I remember doing before I noticed this issue.

I don't see my original Flex (GSPSAN2CIN03NA07B) on Motomodders.net and I don't suppose I'd want to use it again since I believe it will lock my phone to Cingular again.

From what I have read, I should be able to use a new flex with the phone, is that correct? I'm reading the specs on Manalive's Custom V551 Flex and it seems like pretty much everything I need or ever did to my phone.

Also, would a Master Clear/Reset re-lock my phone to Cingular? MotoX's guide says to do a Master Clear/Reset before uploading a custom flex.

Finally got around to changing the flex, but the the Received Calls menu still doesn't work. As I said earlier, even if I was able to find the original flex version for my phone available to download somewhere, it would have re-locked me to Cingular, so that wasn't much of an option.

The MotoModders.net flex is pretty nice, even though it didn't fix problem.

Update: Problem fixed with a new MonsterPack flash.
