Couple of quick BB Questions

Just got the MDA from Tmobile and really do not like it. I am thinking about taking it back and getting the new blackberry but have a few questions.

Is the bluetooth full feature to send and recieve data like ringtones from firends and stuff, or still just a BS headset link only?

Is there a way to add custom ringotones to the BB now and apply different ringtones for diff contacts?

Can you trasfer pictures and art from your comp to your BB via the sync software or other way so that I can have pictures on my phone and custom wallpapers?

yeah I dont really know the problem as I see it is that the system is really buggy. Also I took me like two days to figure out how to make the thing actually go out and check for mail on a regular basis, and then when it does the battery does not even last a full day. Anyway thanks for the help, I am not sure what to do.

so all in all would you say the new model is better then the previous ones? I had one with cingular, cant remember the model # but the first one to have bluetooth in it, and the phone sucked. By the phone I mean like when you put it up to your ear to talk it was terrible to hear what anyone was saying. Is this one better now in this regards? By the way by new I am referring to the 8700 series (and I think the one I had was a 7290) What is the major diff besides edge?

Headset, GPS, and sync with the appropriate OS and desktop software.

Ringtone support is the same as it always has been. You can add ringtones but they need to be in the appropriate format for the device and you have to download them via the browser. Unique ringtones can be assigned on the 8700 with OS 4.1.

There's at least one app that will do this. Again, wallpaper support is the same as it always has been and you can download images via the browser.

ok I just checked and I have 4.1.0.284 (platform 2.0.0.120) So can I apply unique ringtones?

yep as long as its in adp format i believe, im not sure if there's a size limit

So how do I apply them...can I even give different contacts different ringtones that are included on the device now. I use this to know when my kids or wife are calling. I have looked for an option to do this and can not find it.

Also I have been searching for a post on how to add mp3 ringtones to my device. Supposedly you can do this, and I am sure there is a post on it, but if someone could please help me I would appreciate it.
