sidkick power off?

so i am borrowing my cousins sidekick, and lemme tell you, idk how i lived without one now!! but just a couple dayz ago...it started to turn off on its own......and now it wont turn on!!....unless when i SOMETIMES plug in the power adapter to charge it.....then it shuts off again...i only got to see the t-mobie logo pop up..i dont know if it went any further...cuz i didnt have time to stare at it for it to load the OS...so does anyone know what can cauze this to happen....the battery was at FULL....and it acts normal WHEN its on....so i have no idea what can cause this....i dont think its a virus...but then agian, idk the sidekick too well to know if it can get viruses thro the web browser....thanks for any help

could need recovered, take it to your tmobile store or call danger, the USB port is for recovery so they can probly help

Well there's a hige chunk of mis-information. USB is not for recovery, only developers. Sounds like there's an internal problem with your kick. Call tmo and see if you're under warranty. Data recovery is not needed on the SK as all data is synced to the danger backend in realtime. When you get your new kick and log in, all your data will be restored.

If you're having trouble with a device, try making the time to "stare at it" for the 60 seconds out of your life that it takes the device to boot up. You might actually see an error message or be able to describe what's happening well enough for someone to be able to tell you.

If you don't have time to be able to explain what's happening, why should you expect that someone here has the time to be able to help you?

Sorry to harsh on you like this, but you're the only one that can look at your device and describe what's wrong with it.
