i am having trouble checking my myspace on my 8700g. it keeps giving me an error message.......any help would be appreciated!!!

If you want to check myspace on your BB then download Opera Mini (there is a thread on here somewhere with the download link). Not only is the Opera browser quicker than the built in BB browser I think it renders the pages a little better. I can't check my myspace using the built in browser but I have no problems using Opera Mini.

once you install opera mini does it become your default browser or would i still have the option to use the bb browser??

You still have the option to use the BB browser as well as the T-Zones browser. It just acts as an additional program. Depending on what I am doing I switch back and forth between the browser's all the time.

there seems to be some issues with people getting opera with a 8700g...which device are you using and if the 8700g how did you get it?

i finally got opera for my 8700g but now i am having trouble connecting. it says go to the opera mini site and click on help but that doesnt really do much good....anyone else having this problem and if so know how to remedy it??

You have to make sure your APN is configured correctly. Go to Options>Advanced Options>TCP and make sure the APN there is filled in. I've got t-mobile and I had to enter wap.voicestream.com. That should fix your problem. Let me know if you have any other questions or you can PIN me at 23D2E575.

Thanks for the tip. Opera Mini is now working on my 8700g.
