ok, i know many of you here may not have much experience with cricket. but i REALLY want this phone. i mean REALLY want it. yea yea, i know its 2 years old and stuff but i still cant stop drooling over it. and i have cricket. (hopefully i can use this phone for tons of stuff because cricket is unlimeted EVERYTHING ^-^)
what my question is about is reprogramming. i was thinking about just paying someone to reprogram this phone for cricket. im fairly competent when it comes to reprogramming, but still a newbie nonetheless.
the cheapest one ive found is programmed for verizon right now. but im on cricket. how hard would it be to reprogram this phone to work with cricket. IE what do i need to do.
i already have like 3 other phones that are directly from cricket and are also kyocera (KE413[Phantom, 2 of these] and 2 Energi's) SO i have the resources i guess. I just kinda need to know how to extract the PRL lists and what do i really need to know as far as the software is concerned.
i know i can do it, i just need a little help and guidance.
do you think i would be better off just getting it done at a cricket store?
will they even do it?
since my phantom is kinda old, would the PRL list be a little outdated?
(in case anyone is wondering ive read like every post in search results for "7135" on here, AND done quite a bit of google'ing [just letting you know im not just trying to get help without looking first.])
id apreciate ANY advice/instruction you can give. and thanks in advance!
oh yea, im in memphis if it matters. (for prl info)

Did you ever find the files you need? I have the KWPST program and the latest qp and mz files but I believe you would need a qcn file from a 7135 on cricket. If you can get a qcn file i can provide you the rest.

From what I read so far, all you need to do is change the PRL to cricket using KWPST, and you can tell the Customer Service it is a Kyocera slider to activate the ESN . Download a copy here http://howardforums.com/showthread....ghlight=cricket , let me know if it works.
