Um,

I don't know much about data transfer since I haven't gotten a USB for my 3100. But, I know of a place (http://www.funformobile.com) Where they let you upload qcp files. It's free, but again, you will need the internet enabled on your phone. I think most people get songs through their phone's internet, not USB. Sorry, I wish I knew more about the data cable ^_^

No only through the data cable not the interent. I do not have interent on my phone and do not want to pay any extra amount. So is there a way to upload qcp files through a usb cord?

I think there is a program called BITPIM you can use for this. Search the net for it. I have not ever used it, though. I simply have paid the 1 cent per KB for the few I have uploaded.

I've been able to use my USB cable and BitPim to read, transfer and save my contact list on the 2300 but so far I've been unable to transfer ringtones. When I use BitPim it says the ringtones are transfered, but they do not show up on the phone. I ended up transfering the ringtones via the internet and I think I've found them on the file tree on the phone. Perhaps they can be transfered into the 2300 and then the name changed so they will be recognised? I haven't tried to do it this way yet.

If anyone has done this or can give us advice/suggestions it would be appreciated I'd like to transfer ringtones too.
