Have had a vx6000 for a year or so. Lightening whacked my old computer motherboard. Got backups on new PC. Have dozens of hours on trying to get bitpim to get my pics using USB cable to PC. Drivers, ports, around and around. It worked very well before. Nothing can be this hard. Help!

Maybe it's just bad drivers??....
I used to own a vx6000, and had no problems with this setup...

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your reply. For hours this morning my frustration has been
getting higher and higher. Blood pressure on the rise.

And then - PRAISE BE. It is working!

Used your downloads and went around and around again, and suddenly it
worked. Don't ask me how, I don't know.

Really, really appreciate your knowledge and support.
