ringtone maker?

803t doesn't play mp3 ringtones.... on mmf right?

So i was wondering if anyone knows where i can download a 100% free ringtone maker that doesn't involve registration or a trial period. Something I can covert an entire song into mmf without a time limit restriction. Thanks

Good question... i've been using innostream's pc sync software to convert mp3's to mmf, but they're limited to 200kb and it gets alot quieter.

Your phone may have .mmf lenght/size limit too.. I know 902SH had size limit..

Anyways, I used this one when I was making my mmf ringtones:
http://smaf-yamaha.com/tools/downloads.html and download the Wave to SMAF Converter (WSC-MA2-SMAF) (for Windows or Mac)

Oh wow, i don't even know how to thank you I actually downloaded the Wave Sound Decorator instead since it seemed to have the convertor as well as editing (fade-in/out and maximizing the volume). Also, the magic number seems to be files less than 300kb. But now they're MUCH louder than when i was using innostream's convertor

yamaha wave deco. is very effective all u need's a wave and u can make the mmf to size i think MA-3 setting is the best for most phones

Thanks a lot for the program.

So MA-3 will work?
Because i chose MA-7 and no matter how small i make the file, my phone won't play it.
Also what is the best wave quality i can use?

803T will take ma-5 26000mhz or lower.
904T takes MA-7.

are you sure for 803t?
I set mine MA-5, but had to go all the way down to 12000hz

Is there something I am doing wrong? I converted my original mp3 to 192 bit rate and then coverted that to the wave.

does mono24000 hz sound better than stereo 12000hz?
