Does anyone ever leave their im client connected 24/7? I have the unlimited 19.99 bb plan with t-mobile,and i was wondering if i left my im client connected would it automatically disconnect after a certain period of time? Theres no privacy risk involved since i have Aes and keynegotiation enabled right?

I have my Google talk, Yak-on (MSN) and my blackberry messenger on 24/7... They never sign out unless I sign out.. The only problem I have is that it kills my battery super fast...

The Yahoo client is very stable. I also use IM+ and like it as it supports all IM services.

Cuba,

Did you go into Options:Applications:Modules and look for any remnant of GT in there? If you find it, it can be deleted and that should do it.

yep, i deleted it there, and i deleted alll service books associated with google talk, but its still on the homescreen, and when i register with HRT..google is restored back...lol.weird. ill just leave it there for now, a wipe will clear it out though
