hi all,
Firstly i can't seem to get my computer to recognise the smartclip is connected, so any help would be appreciated with this, i am running windows xp pro!

secondly when i finaly get smartclip recognised i need a guide to repair a dead v3 with it, TIA

check your clip connection, make sure it shows smart-clip usp port.

yep sorted that, it now connects, now i need to find flash files that work with smartmoto, this is proving to be a nightmare.

go to boot-loader.com all the files you need are there, you need to use all the support form smart clip. it's very easy

Yes i have tried that but i get error 401 or 404 not quite sure now but my smartclip is a clone if that is any help. TIA

I don't think it will work and it might damage your clip if it's a clone.

that is why i need some other way of obtaining flashes with the .smf extention or some way of converting files to this format,

So you have a cloned smart clip?

IF your clip is a clone the only way is to transfer your cloned clip to a real smart clip or you can ask others to download the file for you and host the file for you.I want to be able to flash phones without using the .smf format i hate SCteams flashes they have UK english and there not always updated.
