Backup/restore

i cant seem to backup my p800 data.. using the latest PC suite version 1.4.2.0. give an error tat SCRFC.exe has generating error or sometik like tat, whenever the phone is restarted by the suite.. pls help! anyone?

im using win xp.. tried on win 2k also cannot..

p800 firmware is r1b

Try the patch that I just posted for your P800 suite and see if it resolves your issue.

i still get the SCRFS.EXE error.. anyone has anymore ideas?

now i can upgrade my firmware in future..

how do u have 1.4.x ? -- I downloaded 1.1.x today from the net -- I thought that was the most recent version.

I could not get it to work with VPC (virtual PC) but I will try to get it working with a real PC tomorrow at work.

hha sorry, 1.4.X is the backup/restore version..

the WHOLE suite is still 1.1.1

can you tell me how can you upgrade your own firmware by yourself? are you suppose to bring it to a service centre to upgrade firmware?

sorry for sounding misleding.
yes, upgrading needs to be done at se service centre. i was worried abt the data being deleted if i ever need an upgrade. now i can sent my set for upgrading in peace,knowing tat i can restore back my data.
