V635 Flashing problem

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just flashed my phone to the 6FR and it flashes fine. I took the transflash card out and followed the instructions.

The phone comes back up with a "reverse" screen mode, so I goto flash it to 6FR reflash and I start getting these 3 popups when running RSD Lite for app drivers and 2 other things. Now the motorola usb modem drivers want to install and no matter what drivers I try to use it keeps telling me Windows was unable to install the modem. I run the driver fix from motorola and it says its done but I cannot reinstall the modem.

Is there any way to cure this reverse screen bug without having to reflash the phone?

Unless you have a PDS patch, you will have to reflash.

Because the problem lies in your PDS version, you need to upgrade it.

what 6FR did you use?

I used the

R474_G_08.48.6FR_SE5163LEUKOTIC_MP_by_leukoplast.s hx

Yeah, try using the stock 6FR one found at motomodders, it might upgrade your PDS.

I'll give it a try if I can get this computer to readd the phones modem correctly. For some reason I cannot get the USB modem drivers to install. I will probably try it on another machines that has USB.

Flash your phone with full MP like this: R474_G_08_48.6FR

Peace

I just flashed it successfully with the full MP R474_G_08_48.6FR.
Can I now flash it with something like 90R_01 V635? Do I have to flash with anything else now?

Nevermind, I got it working. Thanks for the tip about the PDS needing to be upgraded.

Is your phone set to use Memory as the USB connection..or data/fax?

cause I have always had mine set to memory in order for it to work.
