Can you make a backup of your SEEM 0032_0001 and upload it to hofo? PLEASE?? I really need it, I want my SLVR to be reconized by tmobilel so I can download ringtones from tzones.

Yeah I still need the seem but if the seem isnt compatible with my phone[l7] then can you tell me how to change my phone identity to V3?

A.) This won't work, since the SEEM is for a V3 and, well, the SLVR isn't a V3.

And secondly, the SEEM doesn't control downloading from T-Mobile.

Uh, you CAN'T change your "phone identity to V3", since you DON'T HAVE A V3, dummy.

YES U CAN! u can change ur phone identity to be read as a V3 from a WAP thing or whatever. it is so he can download from Tzones. I will try to find the SEEM edit and i will post

HAHA denied! here's wut u have to do:
retrieve (backup) and edit SEEM 0117_0001. On the hex side on the right, replace the L with a V and the 7 with a 3. So the hex side will now read .V.3. instead of .L.7.

o yeah so a drawback to this method is that RSD and other programs will recognize ur phone as a V3. i don't think there's harm in that though. its working for me so yeah!

EDIT: bigger drawback: MPT also recognizes ur phone as a V3. I'm going to rollback to my backup SEEM. i don't even Download from Tzones.

some1 with experience: if i get TmobileWeb with an L7, will it work? Can i use GPRS and browse the web? Thanks

A)Some seems can be universal, *******. Like the menu seent og et itunes on your phone. It was originally for the v360 but it also worked on my slvr. I wonder why.

Yes the seem does have some part in downloading. If tmobile sees that you dont have a tmobile supported phone then it wont let you download rinigtones, *******.

B) Hell yeah you can, people have been tyrying to get the V3i to work with tmobile, they had to change their phones identity to V3. The V3 and the V3i arent the same phone, yet they were able to change the phones identity.

having the phone "recognized" as a V3 won't affect any of the other programs functioning so don't sweat it - mpt just shows a picture of the V3 instead of your L7 or my pebl - doesn't matter!! put the V3 0017_0001 seem on my pebl so i could do the same thing on Cingular.

this isn't the right place to ask ur question but i will try to help anyways. wut kinda RAZR do u have? a stock video capturing RAZR or a SEEM edited one? if its SEEM edited, then u probably forgot to activate the recording seem but u activated the menu icon

. i'm not sure, haven't touched my V3 in a while

the camera works....then when i get to work and after a few hours until the next day it says system error and picture caption error

Did u buy it recently or is it secondhand? if secondhand, u may need to double check to see if all the right seems were made and not only half
