i recently bought a data cable for my z520a, i plugged it in to my computer and i installed all the programs required... the computer says that it cannot find my phone. what should i do? is it my computer or my phone?

Go into the device manager, look under ports, you should see 2 Sony ericsson devices, make note of the com ports they are using...

if you dont have 2 SE Devices listed there, you need to reinstall the USB Drivers.

go to control panel->phone monitor options->COM Ports, make sure those 2 com ports are enabled and the rest are disabled.
