If you your phone is CDMA and there are multiple CDMA networks from different providers, how does the phone know what provider it belongs to?

I have activated a Verizon phone on the Bell network and when I use the Motorola mobile tooks software it says on the virtual phone screen that it is a Telus phone even though it is active and working on the Bell network.

I think a setting in the phone must be changed, but I am not sure what.

Thanks,

bell and telus share networks, it could easily be communicating back to the bell network, but using the telus network as the air interface.

I am thinking that there is some setup values which are different between the two and I am not sure what those are. The phone is constantly saying that it is roaming and the message indicator is not functioning properly. Otherwise, the rest is working just fine.

If I could get someone to tell me what their Bell E815 settings are, I can compare to mine and see if there is something that must be changed.
