803T call display problem

my phone has a problem, it has no problem to display a land line phone # but it shows "unavailable" on the screen if someone call me using a cell phone.......but i can see the phone # after hang up the call and check the call history......just wanna know if other people using 803T has the same problem?

they're probably calling you using a private number
when i had my 803T thats what happened.

for sure they didn't use private number, the number shows up on the call history......just won't show up on the screen while the phone is ringing

hmm..thats super weird..maybe theres some kinda setting in your phone..just browse through and check different things
unforunately i didnt play around with my 803T enough to know

I got the same problem on my 904T as well. Don't know when the problem started.

Well, there is an option in the menu on 904T's... Settings -> Call Settings -> Voice Call -> Caller Details -> Caller Info that says "Displays caller information", so maybe try and see if that's on the 803T's too and see if it's set to on or off.

I've tried that setting on my 904T, and that only turn on/off the caller info on the external display.

If you are using Rogers and got the problem, power off the phone for 1-3 mins. Power it back on and see if the problem still exists. If the problem still exists, call Rogers and they'll fix it for you.
I called Rogers and they fixed the problem on their end.

Yes, I had the same problem.
Just need to call Rogers, they will need to reset the caller id function. Then everything should fine.

Just got my 803T today and had the same problem, "unavailable" when someone calls, but will show up the number after the caller has hung up.
I thought there was somthing wrong with the fone, then I tried the SIM card back into my original phone and call display works, I am convinced that its the 803T.
But I came across this thread and will call Rogers tomorrow to ask them to Reset the Caller ID. Will let you guys know if it fixes the problem.

I called ROGERS this morning and simply said "my call display stopped working" and this is what they told me. "turn off the cell phone for about 30 secs and turn it back on" during that 30 sec time, I guess they resetted it on their end. After that, everything was working great!
