New To SHarp Phones Help !!!

Hey guys, excuse my noobishness to these forums but I got a few quick questions. SO here goes:

I live in the United States, Los Angeles, California. I got a friend in Japan who's willing to give me his NTT Docomo Foma SH901iC. Will it work here in America with my T-Mobile network and my Sim card ? If it doesn't, is there any way to make it work ?

lol, I just searched the forums and y'all got them fancy 902's and 903's and 4's and 5s and what nots.

Noope... the Foma network isn't compatible with T-Mobile.

Unless you can change the chipset, sadly, it won't work. You can use the other functions, but not the phone as a phone.

So if I stick my T-Mobile sim card into my "new" phone, I can't make any calls ?

I knew it was too good to be true.

Alright, while im at it, I might as well ask all my questions.

1. So the SH902i (Japanese Version) will work with my USA T-Mobile service and I can make calls with it right ? (All I have to do is pop my sim in ?)
2. Will I get good reception ?
3. Will Japan still have it since it's "old" ?
4. How much will it cost me ?
5. It has an English Language option right ?
6. Any cool features I should know about ?
7. Any not-so-good stuff I should know about it ?
8. Do y'all know what's in the package ?
9. Any recommended accessories ?
10. Oh, do I have to unlock it first ?

my friend make sure you pick up a 902sh not the sh902i none of the phone from foma or docomo will work with tMO. only phones from VODA will work with tMO so if you really want to pick one up get the 900sh series.
