My Razr V3 silver cant play ringtones in mp3 format

Hello.

Im a Motorola V3 Razr Silver, and we have some short mp3s created from a mp3 cutter utility from the original mp3s files. I can play the mp3 in mi V3, and I can to assign it to ringtone, but when I receive a call, these mp3 can't play, and the sound is the default ringtone of the actual theme.

This is a sample of details from one of my ulpoaded mp3:

Length: 0:26
Size: 413 Kb
Bit Rate: 128 Kbps
Type: MP3

My V3 Info:

SW Version : R374_G_OE.42.0BR
S/W DSP : 62343400
Quadband-GSM

meh, u need to delete the two .db files found in the audio folder. use p2kman to delete those and restart the fone, then assign a ringtone.

also make note that your mp3s should be at a constant bit rate, not variable. Otherwise your phone may show it as a corrupt file.
