I've had various bb's for +5 yrs, but am finally trying to load some 3rd Party software from Handigo ... this makes me feel like a newbie! my Desktop manager does not recognize them even tho all apps are .alx files - what do I need to load these new goodies???
another weird question - how does one ask bb to store a contact to the sim card. I have never been able to find that function?

Launch the application loader from within the desktop manager and then add the axl you want to load by clicking on the add button and guiding it to the area where you have the file in. I ussually have un big directory with all the subdirectories to all my third party software inside. Do not move them from where you place them after you load them otherwise the BB will not have a referrence point to its location and next time you run the application loader it will unistall them.

Yes - tried this. Upon guiding it to the .alx file I want to load, it lets me find it and highlight it, but upon returning to the load screen it quickly comes up with an error "no additional software designed for your handheld was found". I have even downloaded the most current version of DTM to make certain that wasnt the problem. I have tried 4 different programs, but all were from Handigo. If i need additional software to recognize Handigo saftware - where do i find it?
