You will need to have a data cable of sorts that will connect to your PCI slot or (in some cases) your USB port. With that, you can set it up as a 56k modem, however you will also need to subscribe to a dial-up internet service in the area that you are using.
Then you'll need to contend with the frucking data charges that you're going to be going through. Hurrah!
